The success of laser cleaning can be attributed to the numerous advantages of the process.

Laser beam cleaning is a method that, for quite some time now, is no longer solely implemented for mold cleaning, but that can also be implemented to clean a wide range of different components during processing. The success of laser cleaning as an alternative to conventional cleaning methods can be attributed to the numerous advantages of the process. For one, the method only incurs very low operating costs, since no cleaning agents are used and no waste disposal is required. Secondly, the process is very precise and gentle on surfaces. Finally, the excellent cleaning results that can be achieved with the laser beam are ultimately the decisive factor. The laser evaporates oxides, dirt particles of all kinds and above all impurities from polymer-based lubricants, which are particularly difficult to remove, in a matter of seconds. The remaining surface is perfectly prepared for subsequent machining, e.g. laser welding.

Our high Energy laser non-destructive cleaning machine adopts a new generation laser and an upgraded control system and trajectory algorithm independently developed by Lasermach® and a high-end galvanometer.

The unique design makes the laser cleaning effect remain uniform under hand-held conditions. Contaminants are effectively removed and the metal substrate appears white and bright. Even if the same position is cleaned multiple times, there is still no damage and the metal color is as new. Especially suitable for silicone rubber product mold cleaning and stainless steel weld cleaning.  It can be used for non-destructive cleaning and removal of various metal substrates, such as stainless steel, mold steel, aluminum alloy, titanium alloy and other surfaces.

There are two laser cleaning technologies that cover these tasks:

Continuous wave (CW) laser cleaning uses a steady, high-power laser beam to remove rust, paint, and heavy contamination quickly and consistently. Because the energy is delivered continuously, CW systems excel on larger steel surfaces and thicker coatings where throughput matters. CW causes more damage to the carrier surface and brings the carbon up, so it becomes useless for direct painting or precision welding

Pulsed laser cleaning uses short, controlled bursts of laser energy to remove surface contamination with a high degree of precision. This makes it well-suited to detailed work, selective coating removal, and applications on more sensitive surfaces. Pulsed systems have lower average heat input and more detailed control.
