LASER SAFETY TRAINING BEST PRACTICES
In our training, we’ll go over the basics of laser safety and then emphasize the safety equipment you’ll need before operating our laser solutions. While laser ablation requires less protective wear than other media blasting options — including sandblasting, dry ice blasting, or plasma blasting — your operators will still need to wear protective gear. The best way to ensure your team’s safety is to:
- Wear laser protective eyeglasses
- Set up an optical hazardous zone enclosure
- Include interlocking mechanisms to prevent entry during operations
- Put up signs describing the risks
